After getting into legal trouble, I felt embarrassed, discouraged, and unsure of what my future would look like. The Visionary

Meet Mr. Smith

Educator, Mentor & Community Leader

Mr. Smith is an educator, mentor, and community leader dedicated to helping young people discover their purpose, build confidence, and unlock their full potential. Originally from Philadelphia, he relocated to Georgia in 2019 with his family in pursuit of new opportunities and a greater impact on the communities he serves.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Alvernia University and began his career in hospitality and finance before discovering his true calling through mentoring young men at his church. This passion for service led him to earn his Master’s Degree in Education from Chestnut Hill College and dedicate his life to empowering students both inside and outside the classroom.

For more than seven years, Mr. Smith has inspired students in grades 3 through 6 to develop a love for mathematics while fostering resilience, curiosity, and a growth mindset. He believes that every child deserves a champion and that education is about more than academics; it is about equipping young people with the skills, confidence, and character to thrive in life.
